The Smith Scholarship General Information

The Mission

The Smith Scholarship Foundation was created in 2010 to support rising seniors pursue their higher education goals in music. Founded by the Smith Family, the scholarship honors the late Victoria L. Smith who was a dedicated cellist up until her passing in 2009. Each year at the Smith Foundation Gala in November, the recipient of the scholarship is awarded and given the opportunity to play in front of the audience.

  • Applicant must be an active musician either in the school orchestra or a private orchestra
  • Applicant must attend a 2-year or 4-year post-secondary education
  • Applicant must pursue a college degree
  • Applicant must complete the application questions below
